oh wow i would love it if someone could translate this. heard this everywhere, starting and ending with the plane ride in and out of town. i too was intrigued with the protocols and cultural space of the airport — its duty free selling Cuban cigars (they do a good job fetishizing the already taboo-object with their impressive humidor), the huge presence of volunteers and security, Pizza Hut, the fiercely guarded ( or at least i thought so until encountering this blog) Olympic-brand store with VISA only restriction

translating the song! it’s a good idea, will work on it and post soon… the part that i remember off the top of my head is something like, “Open up our house with open arms, waiting for you”, and then the funny, “Don’t need to be polite!” I hadn’t heard about the fiercely guarded Olympic shops though, where did you see that? The ones I saw around Wangfujing or even at the events were all mad houses with people mobbed all over the place…
